On successful completion of the Course the Dog Handler Candidate is Certified and then married up with his or her dog for another week of training before the Dog Team can be Certified

We usually do these courses at our K9 Academy in Erbil but have in the past trained Dog Handlers elsewhere in Iraq
Explosive Detection Dogs
Service For Our Customers!
Mando´s Explosive Detection Dogs (EDDs) are trained on 14 different types of explosives using live explosives under license from the Kurdish Regional Government Ministry of Interior
In 2020 we had some 36 Explosive Detection Dog Teams deployed thru ought North Iraq in support of our clients. With some of those projects we also supply a mobile kennel facility.

We support several Government and Non-Government Organizations with NDD searches as either a precaution against the possible presence of drugs at their premises or when called.
Patrol Dogs
Mando´s Patrol Dogs (PDs) are trained to detect perimeter intrusion. They can also be deployed as Guard Dogs for various industrial facilities
Professional K9
ACADEMY
Mando´s K9 Academy is located just outside Erbil International Airport
At the K9 Academy we train dogs from 9 months of age until certified Explosive Detection Dogs, Patrol Dogs or Narcotic Detection Dogs.
We follow the NATO 190/12 Standards and we are members of the American Working Dog Association and the National Association of Security Dog Users
At the K9 Academy we have five full time employees training new potential working dogs, dog handlers and supporting our K9 projects in the North of Iraq
The K9 Academy can house 28 dogs in the kennel that are air-conditioned with inside as well as outside space for the individual dog
